People have been writing things into Bitcoin since the first block.
Satoshi put a newspaper headline in the genesis block in 2009. Since then: vows, birthdays, apologies, names of the dead. None of it can be edited or taken down. Search it.

Some of this was written to last. Some of it is an advert, or half a sentence someone split across transactions. All of it is still there, and will be. You can add to it.
What it means to write something permanent
Orlog puts your words into a Bitcoin transaction. Once a block closes over it, the record is copied to every archival node on the network, worldwide. After a few confirmations, changing it would mean redoing all the mining work done since — which is why neither you nor Orlog can take it back, and why it deserves a moment's thought first.
How it works
You write it, and we check it isn't already there
Up to 80 bytes. We check it against our index of the chain — every readable text payload we have found — so we can tell you if someone wrote the same thing in 2019, before you pay. The search on step 01 runs over a small reviewed sample of that index, not the whole of it.
A person reads it
Every submission is reviewed by hand within 24 hours. Until then your card is held, not charged. We charge it when we approve you, and broadcasting starts automatically from that moment. If we decline, the hold is released and you pay nothing.
It is written into Bitcoin
Within 48 hours of approval, your words go into a real transaction on the main Bitcoin network — the same ledger, not a sidechain or a token.
You get a record anyone can verify
A certificate carrying the Merkle proof that ties your transaction to its block. Every block mined afterwards builds on that one, so undoing it would mean redoing all the work since. Checkable against any Bitcoin node, without trusting us.
Three things worth understanding
It is genuinely permanent
There is no delete. No edit, no takedown, no appeal. Rewriting it would mean redoing every block mined since — which is the point, and also the risk.
It is public
Anyone can read it, forever. Don't inscribe anything you would not put on a gravestone in a public square.
It proves when, not who
The chain proves these exact words existed no later than the block they sit in, and have not changed since. Block times are approximate, not a clock. It does not prove who wrote them, or that what they say is true.
Check your spelling. It is the most common regret, and the only one we cannot fix. We read every submission, but we will not change your words.
Two ways to keep it: a digital record you can print, or an object engraved in metal.
Write yours
One price for the inscription. The physical memento is priced separately: it is made to order, and each of its six faces is set up and engraved on its own.

What you get
Written & certified
Everything needed to prove it, nothing physical. Less than a coffee.
- Up to 80 bytes on Bitcoin mainnet, forever
- Reviewed by hand within 24 hours, or we tell you why not
- Broadcast automatically on approval, fee-bumped until it confirms
- Certificate as PDF and image, print-ready
- A verification page, as a file you keep
- Declined costs nothing; never written, fully refunded
Engraved in metal
A solid cube, engraved on all six faces.
- Everything in the inscription tier
- Your words, the block, the date, the transaction
- A QR carrying the transaction id itself, readable without any website
- Anodised aluminium, brass or stainless
- Laser-engraved, each face set up separately
This is a prototype. Nothing here takes payment yet and no order is placed. Pricing for the memento is pending a real quote.
If it does not get written, you get your money back. Approval charges your card and starts the broadcast automatically — minutes, not days. If your transaction is slow to confirm we raise its fee and rebroadcast until it does. If it still never makes it into a block, we refund you in full. You are never left having paid for an inscription that does not exist.
We absorb the network fee, whatever it is. Fees move, and the price you were quoted does not. We do not stop selling during a spike and we do not reprice an order after you have placed it.
